Margaret Ann Witwer passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 74 years.
Margaret was born in Vermilion, AB. She then lived in Killam, AB, Edmonton, AB, Yellowknife, NWT, Edmonton, AB, Rocky Mountain House, AB prior to settling in Calgary, AB in 1990.
Margaret loved to travel and was able to visit some amazing countries and places over the years – Panama, Belize, United Kingdom, Scotland, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Portugal and others.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Tara Hannan, of Houston, Texas, USA; granddaughter, Kristen Witwer of Houston, Texas, USA; siblings, Linda (Doug) Irons of Calgary, Alberta, David (Donna) Witwer of Taber, Alberta; Doug Witwer of Swan Hills, Alberta; Gordon (Cheryl) Witwer of Edmonton, Alberta, and Barry Witwer of Burnaby, British Columbia.
Margaret was predeceased by her mother Clara Witwer (March 19, 2011), father David Witwer (August 15, 1970), brother Neil Witwer (October 20, 1986), and sister-in-law, Sherrell Christensen (July 23, 2021).
