Margo Marie Yolande Scofield (ne Vulliez) of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday July 23, 2019 at the Chinook Hospice, following a courageous battle with cancer and IPF.
Margo was born on Feb. 15, 1941 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. She is predeceased by her mother, Marie Louise Vulliez (Gobeil); father, Jean Napolean Vulliez; sister, Therese Marie Marguerite Dunbar and brother, Jean Joseph Edward Vulliez all of St. Boniface, Manitoba.
Margo is survived by her husband Lloyd Philip Scofield of 60 years; their two children, Ken Scofield of Calgary and Laura-Lynn Nighswander (John) and grandchildren, David, Michael, and Ashley all of Katy, Texas. Margo has one surviving sister, Jacqueline Marie Cecile Kaskiw and God son, John Kaskiw of St. Boniface, Manitoba.
She has numerous extended family members, Bill and Geraldine Scofield of Vancouver; Trevor and Debbie Scofield of Coppell, Texas; Bonnie and Don Gallant of Calgary; Laura and Guy Parsons of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Piersons Funeral Home (4121 17 Ave. S.E., Calgary, Alberta). All are welcome to celebrate Margos life. There will be a short service followed by a reception.
