With great sadness we announce the passing of Marion Heitman on Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 88.
Marion was born in Crystal Springs, Saskatchewan. She met the love of her life, Henry at a dance in Calgary. They were married November 20, 1950 at St. Henry’s church, Twin Butte, Alberta. Henry’s work had the family moving all over Alberta including. Stettler, Drumheller, Lodgepole, and Red Deer were some of the locations before they settled down in Calgary. They enjoyed travelling for many years and spending their winters in Arizona.
Marion loved cooking and being hospitable. You never left her house hungry. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and singing with her ladies group at Bethany Care Centre. Up until four years ago, dancing was a great form of exercise and enjoyment with friends.
