Mark Douglas Pontarollo

Mark Pontarollo passed away on Saturday July 8, 2023 at the age of 59 years after a lengthy illness with his wife by his side.

Mark is predeceased by his parents, Arian & Muriel Pontarollo. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sherri; children, Terrence (Stephanie) and Jenifer (Justin); grandchildren, Kasen Pagonis, Livia Pontarollo, Rhys Boettger, Ellen Hodgson & Paige Miller, his best friend Jeff Bennett and family, as well as his extended family and friends.

Mark was born and raised in Calgary. He worked for many years as a courier for Five Star Courier. He became interested in wrestling eventually doing video production for many companies including Real Canadian Wrestling, Pure Power Wrestling, Monster Pro Wrestling and Top Talent Wrestling. He loved rock music, especially KISS. He was a bit of a musician himself. He played bass guitar. Mark was a laid back, easy going kind of guy. He could also be a happy and silly jokester. Most of all, he was a loving and caring family man. He loved Sherri, his kids, grandkids and fur babies.

Life doesn’t end beyond here and now

Don’t cry in sorrow but rejoice in birth.

I am not gone but in mere breath alone.

Look into your heart and the eye of your mind.

Always remember you’re never alone,

I’ll walk with you, and guide you on your own life journey,

So don’t say goodbye because we will meet again…..
