Marlenne Lisette Talavera-Escobar

Marlenne Talavera-Escobar passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the age of 32 years.

She is survived by her loving parents Silvia Escobar and Gabriel Talavera of Calgary; paternal grandmother Augustina Talavera; and siblings Miguel Escobar, David Talavera-Escobar, Joshua Talavera, Edmundo Talavera all of Calgary, Magaley Talavera of Vernon, British Columbia, Gabriela Talavera of Victoria, British Columbia, Angel Talavera of Kelowna, British Columbia.

Marlenne was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. As a little girl, Marlenne passion was being with her cousins and family. She enjoyed the family trips to Fairmont. Marlenne dreamed of becoming a social worker. She was charismatic, compassionate, goofy, but most of all she had a big heart. Everyone Marlenne came in contact with would want to be her friend. She will be dearly missed by all.

A time of visitation will commence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121-17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta. Please follow the pandemic protocol. Face masks and social distancing are to be observed. A Funeral Service will be held for Marlenne at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
