Martha Karla Reisenhofer

It is with great sadness that the family of Martha wishes to announce her passing on September 24, 2016 at the age of 83. Mom (Oma) will be lovingly remember by her sons Joerg ( Sonia ) Wriedt, Glenn Reisenhofer (Colleen Purtill ) and daughter Caroline Herchak (Pat) and grandchildren Sasha and Tiana Herchak and Elsa Reisenhofer. Martha’s love of the mountains and nature brought her much happiness and fulfillment. She was involved with the Rocky Mountain Ramblers and the Tuesday Hiking Group where she made many dear friends. A Memorial service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17th Avenue S.E., Calgary) on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Wildlife Federation. A special thanks to all those that cared for Martha at the George Boyack.
