Mary Lynorah Powers

POWERS (nee Corbett) Mary Lynorah January 16, 1932 June 30, 2012 Mary Powers passed away June 30, 2012 at the Bethany Care Centre at the age of 80. She is survived by her three children John (Rose), Teresa “Anne” and James (Helen); four grandchildren Carol, Cherie, Sarah and Jennifer; a great-grandson Jeremy; a brother Leonard Corbett; and a sister-in-law Katherine Corbett. Mary was a true Calgarian, being born and raised here. She had a passion and love of music that she expressed through her beautiful singing and piano playing. She is dearly loved. A funeral service will be held at Pierson’s, Forest Lawn Chapel 4121 17 Avenue SE on Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
