Mary “Maureen” Kelly

KELLY, Mary “Maureen” Elizabeth December 17, 1952 – May 22, 2014 After a brave battle with cancer, Maureen Kelly passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 61 years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Sean Kelly and Amber Kelly (Charles Mason); her grandchildren, Kalvin Mason, Mariah Mason, Alya Mason, and Aimee Brucker; her mother, Maisie Kelly; her brothers, Sinclair (Marinette) Kelly and Edward Kelly; her nieces, Michelle Kelly, Sarah Kelly, and Shannon Kelly and numerous family and friends throughout Ontario, Canada and Ireland. Born in Ireland, Maureen moved to Canada in her younger years. She raised a family of her own and loved her grandchildren more than anything. Always happy, Maureen was a free spirit. She never hesitated to give whatever she could or had to anyone she loved. Maureen will be remembered for her gift of making friends, her kind soul, and her gentle heart. She will forever be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Ave SE, on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00pm. If friends so desire, memorial donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
