Micheline Valcourt

Micheline Valcourt passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the age of 62 years. 

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 40 years, Gemps Henri Benoit, along with their 6 children, Jennifer, Medgine, Sherldrick, Sherlden, Droudgie, and Gemps Henri Junior; grandchildren Mikaella, Jaylen, Devine, Myzel, and Joseus; siblings Elise, Demeyer, Lormelie, Onora, Mathieu, Michel, Rose Marie, Mimose, Curlo, Yonel, Carole, Guerline, Natasha, and Johnny. 

Micheline was born and raised in Haiti and moved to Canada where she started her family in Montreal, and later resided in Calgary. She was a baker and a seamstress, and her favourite hobby was decorating the house with flowers. Although she was a quiet person, she had the loudest loving children. She loved to entertain, hosting family parties, and staying connected with her family on the phone. She was a faithful person of God and she loved going to church. She was a beautiful person inside and out, may God bless her soul. 

A Visitation will be held for Micheline at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave S.E., Calgary) on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Funeral Service will be held at Garden Road Seventh Day Adventist Church (155-100 Street N.E., Calgary) on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
