Michelle Frances Mcwilliam

March 30, 1977 — July 28, 2018

IIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Michelle McWilliam announces her passing on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Calgary at the age of 41 years. Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Kirk; her rays of sunshine, her children Luke, Emily, and Sarah; her mother Rita; her brother Michael (Angie) and his children Austin, Cooper, and Rider; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father James. What can one say about Michelle other than she was an incredible person; she lived by her faith, cherished her friends, and adored her family. Michelle was a successful entrepreneur with “A Lovely Start” and although this was near and dear to her, her true passion was the farm. So much so that she brought a little of it to her and Kirk’s quarter acre in Langdon. Surrounded by fruit trees and astonishing gardens, Michelles green thumb knew no bounds. It was just last year she had a yield of 150 pounds of tomatoes alone. Her pickles, cherry jam and hot pepper jelly were always family favorites. Michelle has left an undeniable imprint on this earth. She had a heart of gold that will continue to shine on through her children. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the absolute pleasure of knowing her. A prayer service will be held for Michelle on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr. SE, Calgary) at 7:00 pm. Michelles Happy Heaven Day will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr. SE, Calgary) at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michelles name to Kids Cancer Care at www.kidscancercare.ab.ca
