Mike Robert Thompson

Mike Thompson passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the age of 43 years.  

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gladdy; sons, Mike Jr. & Miguel; parents, Ricardo & Isabel; siblings, Brenda (Walter) Escobar and Richard (Adrienne) Thompson; nieces, Monique, Kristen & Karmaleanna; nephew, Richard Jr; along with extended family. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard & Rita Thompson and Roberto & Isabel Mairena.

Mike was born in Nicaragua. When he was around 4, his family immigrated to the Florida, USA before coming to Canada. He worked for more that 15 years at Centurion Medical Corporation. Mike loved watching movies and reality shows like Ice Road Truckers and Ridiculousness. He also watched renovation shows and was bit of a handyman himself. He liked to DIY and build things for around the house. He was also into automotives, especially trucks. Then at the end of the day, he enjoyed a nice, cold beer - Corona.

A Visitation will be held for Mike at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Monday January 8, 2024 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
