Mildred Nesbitt ( Nee Henhawk)

Mildred Nesbitt ( Nee Henhawk) passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the age of 86 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, David ( Shawn) of Colorado, USA, Thelma (John) of Red Deer, AB, Donald (Nohelia) of Ohsweken, ON, Paul ( Dianne) of Calgary, AB and George (Tammy) of Enderby, BC; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her mother, Hazel Maracle; her son, Jeffrey Stephen, Mildred’s grandparents Robert and Susan Henhawk; Her siblings, Frank Jr, Dorise, George, Bernie and Muriel.

Mildred was born in Ohsweken, ON. She later found herself in Calgary, AB where she would spend her remaining years. Mildred loved crafting. She even started her own craft business where she would attend craft shows showcasing her talents. She was very proud of her indigenous heritage and loved to share her culture with the world.

Mildred will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
