Mimi Hawley

Mimi Hawley went to be with her Lord on Sunday June 26, 2016 at the age of 95 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Laraine Gamble and Arlene (Erik) Quackenbush; grandchildren, Paul (Melanie) Gamble, Brian Gamble, David (Olivia) Quackenbush and Emma (Jason Sapinsky) Quackenbush; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; parents John and Lena Carrozza; and son-in-law Alan Gamble. Mimi was born and raised in Toronto where she met and married the love of her life Gordon. They started their family there as well. Mimi was a loving mother to her family as well as a caring individual to those who’s lives she touched. Upon her husband’s retirement they relocated to Calgary, AB to be with her children and grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held for Mimi at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (16 Avenue & Garden Road/100 Street NE) on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Major David Dean officiating.
