April 7, 1994 — January 3, 2020

It is with great sadness, the family has to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Mitchell on January 3, 2020 at the age of 25 years.

Mitchell was born and raised in Calgary, he made numerous lifelong friends while growing up in Calgary and playing junior sports (Soccer and Football). He was a motorcycle enthusiast and wanted to get another bike. Mitchell enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he was always the guy that was wearing a smile and would go out of his way to make everyone’s day that much brighter, with his bright smile and joyful disposition, it was impossible not to smile in his presence. Mitchell recently got engaged to Paula and was a father to two beautiful children; a 4 year old step-daughter and 1 year old son who were his whole world. Mitchell will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his Fiancé Paula Hunter, Step-Daughter Adrianna and son Cooper; his parents Denise and John Young; Brother Calvin (Kelsey), Grandfather John Mowat; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his Grandfather John Neuman, Grandmother Thereisa Neuman, Uncle Dave Mowat and Grandmother Bernice Mowat. Cremation Services will be conducted by Pierson’s Funeral Home, the Interment will be scheduled at a later date. Family and close friends will be invited when the date has been finalized.
