Myrna Hood passed away suddenly and unexpectedly January 19, 2013 at the Rockyview Hospital at the age of 72. Myrna will be missed by a daughter and son-in-law Janice Hood & Dwayne Blais; son Timothy Hood; grandchildren Michael (Connie), Steven, Sierra, TJ; a sister Frances Makin; and many other relatives and friends. Myrna was predeceased by her husband Ivan September 6, 2010. Myrna was born and raised in Bellevue, Alberta in the Crowsnest Pass. After high school, she moved to Calgary where she met and married Ivan. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family and a loving and caring grandmother. Myrna was an avid bowler and hockey fan. She loved returning to Bellevue “Beautiful View” during the summer and also enjoyed camping. Myrna had a direct way about her whether it was something she liked or didn’t you always knew where you stood. She was kind and generous and will be dearly missed. In keeping with Myrna’s wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Meals on Wheels.
