Nicholas Victor Chobotiuk

CHOBOTIUK Nicholas Victor April 6, 1928 January 16, 2013 Victor Chobotiuk passed away January 16, 2013 at the Foothills Hospital in his 85th year. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Lou in 2002. Victor is survived by six children Jerry, Darryl, Joanne, Tim, Kelly and Andrew; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; his best 4 legged friend Rambo; and caregiver and friend Robbi and her family. Victor was born and raised in Rembrandt, Manitoba and moved west to Alberta at age 14 where he worked at the Colpitts Ranch. He then set out on his own selling from his refrigerated freezer truck to many rural Albertans. Victor could be counted on sharing a joke or telling a story. He loved camping, fishing and travelling with Mary Lou in their RV. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, bringing life to any gathering. A private family gathering will be held.
