Nick passed away at the Chinook Care Centre Hospice in Calgary on October 21, 2012 at the age of 86. He is survived by his son Andrew (Deborah); his grandchildren Nicolas and Amy; as well as his sister Olga Goertz. He was predeceased in 2006 by his wife Lena. Memorial Service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (9110 Fairmont Drive SE) on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chinook Care Centre Hospice (1261 Glenmore Trail SW, Calgary, AB, T2V 4Y8). The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Rockyview General Hospital and the Chinook Hospice for their extraordinary care and support.
