Olusegun Adegbite (Ph.D.), born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria on Jan. 19th, 1970, passed away on Dec. 15th, 2016 in Edmonton, Canada. He was an alumnus of The Polytechnic of Ibadan, Nigeria, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, University of Cape Town, South Africa, and the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada. He was a follower of Christ and an ordained minister with fellowships with brothers and sisters in the Church community that spans several countries. He was a board member of Word of Faith Family Church, Fredericton, Canada, and member of the Prayer Assembly for all Nations, Nigeria. He was also a member of the Revival Pioneers Ministry International, Vancouver, Canada.
At the time of his passing, Dr. Adegbite was a post-doctoral fellow at University of Alberta, Canada, and his primary assignment was to research Cancer, the disease that eventually took his life. Dr Adegbite was a true family man, a devoted husband to his wife Olufolake Abel-Adegbite and father of three (Ife, Faith, and Promise), a prayer warrior, a wonderful friend and role model to many. He loved helping others and will always go out of his way to offer his assistance to people. Segun is truly missed by his father, brothers, sisters, and extended family. He leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of many.
