Paulette touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting those she loved. Whether it was a warm word of encouragement, a thoughtful gesture, or simply her comforting presence, Paulette always made those around her feel cherished. She had a special way of making everyone feel like family, and her love extended far and wide.

An avid golfer, Paulette found peace and joy on the green, where she shared countless rounds with friends and family, enjoying the simple pleasures of the game. She also had a passion for sewing, creating beautiful pieces that spoke of her patience and creativity. Paulette loved a good shopping trip, often accompanied by laughter and a shared experience with loved ones. And above all, she never passed up the opportunity to enjoy a great glass of wine, always with a friend or family member at her side.

Paulette is survived by her son, Spencer Handberg of Calgary, Alberta; daughter, Morgan Handberg of Chestermere, Alberta; husband of over 30 years, Wade Handberg; siblings, Cathy Zemp of Chestermere, Ron (Susan) Guss of Calgary, Marnie Eggen (Steve Diggon) of Gabriola Island; nieces and nephews, Tyler (Kayla) Zemp of Calgary, Adam Guss and Josh Guss of Calgary, Sydney Diggon and Mya Diggon of Gabriola Island; great-nephew, David Crowhurst of Airdrie; grandmother, Vesta Guss; stepmother, Margaret Guss; stepfather, Clinton Morden; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, James Guss; mother, Jeanne Morden; nephew, Matthew Crowhurst.

Her legacy of love, warmth, and generosity will live on in the memories she leaves behind. Paulette will be deeply missed by her children, siblings, friends, co-workers and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
