Paulette Otto passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the age of 73 years. she will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Vere Otto of Calgary, AB; Paulette’s children, Natasha Otto and  Chamra Otto-Anthony ( Alwyn Anthony) of the USA, and Reisa-Ann Otto of Calgary, AB; stepson, Dave Otto; her grandchildren, Ayla, William and Maya Otto,  and Aliana Anthony;

Her siblings :Geraldine “Ilvette” Sheppard, Herbert (Eloise) Sheppard, Eustace (Jean) Sheppard, Patrick (Lornette) Sheppard, Stephanie Sheppard, Valiry Sheppard, Ian Gomes, Claire Otto, Keith (Glenna) Otto, Albert (Pauline) Otto and Kora (Ian) Shannon;

Her nieces and nephews, Wesley (Cassandra), Sacha, Anika, Janell , Melissa (Eddie), Marie, Simone, Kori,  Anne Marie (Everett), Nigel (Andrette) Sheppard, Samatha Sheppard, Teddy Sheppard Jr., Donna (Franklin) Maynard-Jacobs, Alison and Danielle Brown, Andre (Hayley) Brown, Keith(Bonnie) Otto, Joy (Marques)Frazier, Clint Otto, Brittney Otto, Stephen (Anna) Shannon. Great nieces and Nephews to numerous to mention.

Paulette’s cousins, Dayton (Charline) Samuel, Dame Eusaline Lewis (BT), Jean Francis (Aston) of Antigua, Fitzgerald (Isabel) Samuel, Junie Ruddy, Steve (Juliette) Samuel of Canada, Patricia Francis of Antigua, Jackie (O’neal) Mason, Bridget Richardson, Dupert, Keithroy, Bernie (Primrose) Williams, Jeremiah Butler of Pares, Josaine Butler-Weston in the USA; as well as the Sheppards of All Saints, Christian Hill, Grays Farm and Parham Antigua, West Indies; The Ferris’ of Freeman’s Village; The Soanes in Canada and the USA; The Dyers of Gunthopes and the Children of the late Fernella Williams;

Paulette’s In-laws, Mrs. Shirley Butler and Juliette Car-Sheppard of Pares;

Her friends, Mrs. Gwendolyn Nelson, Mrs. Iola McMaster, Ms. Esther George, Helen Henry, Lorraine Roberts, Sharon Vigo, Ernestine Hodge, Mrs. Jennifer Daniel, Cicely Solomon, Sandra Joseph, Steven Claxton, The congregation of the Seaglans Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Pares Community. As well as many Nieces, Nephews and extended family.

Paulette was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Una Sheppard; her great great aunt (adopted mother), Viola Joseph; her siblings, Teddy Sheppard and Velva Otto-Charles. Niece: Dornne Sheppard-Le Blanc

The celebration of her amazing life will be in Antigua later in December.
