It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Farnum announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the age of 65 years.
Peter is survived by his partner and best friend, RJ Mazur; two brothers, John (Lori) Carmichael and Pat Farnum; step-father, Murray Crayston; his cousin, David (Pat) Davidson who were recently reunited and reside in Australia along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his father, Patrick Reginald Farnum in May of 1986; his mother, Holly Edna Crayston in August of 2012 and brother, Andrew Bryan Farnum in April of 2006.
For those that had the honor of being a part of Peter’s life, will know that he had an impact on everyone he met and will keep a special place for him in their hearts. He was the most adventurous, creative, outgoing man and was always seen looking his best and dressed up in style. You could find him in the depths of the ocean scuba diving or in his garden admiring all the beautiful flowers or around the world travelling with a glass of wine in hand. He was always wanting to learn new things and loved telling stories and reminiscing on the past. Peter also had a great love for animals and his beautiful Persian cat, Max had a very special place in his heart. But above all, Peter loved his family and friends more than anything and would have done anything for those he loved. Peter will forever be in our hearts and we will miss him every day.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Peter’s name to either the
Heart and Stroke Foundation
and or the
MEOW Foundation
.
A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a later date and details will follow.
