NAICKER, Raj Gopal June 10, 1924 – September 27, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raj Naicker announces his passing on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his children, Viswa (Pushpa) Naiker, Amra (Gursamy) Gounder, Kaniamma Naicker, Kup Sami (Florence) Naicker, Ling (Sarsa) Naicker, and Krishna (Chandra) Naicker, all of Calgary; a daughter-in-law, Panjali Naicker; 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild. Raj was predeceased by his wife, Chinamma Naicker; son, Loga Naicker; daughter, Sarojni Naicker; and brothers, Vedajalam Naicker and Mun Sami Naicker. Visitation at Pierson’s Funeral Home, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (16 Avenue & Garden Road / 100 Street NE, Calgary) on Friday, October 3, 2014 at12:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
