Raymond Joseph Remillard

Raymond Remillard died at the age of 51 on February 14, 2022. Ray was always a spunky individual who battled mental illness. Before Ray had his struggles, he always had happy times with his brother Pierre and his sister Tonya. They would partake in the LDS church and do many things together as a family. Ray supported and took care of Tonya and Pierre the best he could while they were growing up. He loved doing carpentry work and opened up his own contracting business in his 20’s. He was an avid collector of many things! He loved comic books, coins, and stamps. In Raymond’s free time he would love to go fishing and was one of his favourite activities to do since he was a teenager. While Ray was working hard, he was married to Agatha Oevering and had a beautiful baby girl, Ashley Remillard. His favourite thing to do with his daughter was taking her to the zoo. I can’t even explain with writing how much he loved animals. When Raymond and Agatha parted ways, he later on met his partner Helen White and had two beautiful children, Raeton remillard and Elwood Remillard. Helen and Raymond moved to Ontario where they raised their two kids. Helen and Ray were avid walkers and would love to go on walks together. When Raeton was a little girl she would love to be cheeky with her dad. It was never ending laughter for the two of them. We will all miss Raymond and his big heart. You will forever remain in our memories. A Funeral Service will be held for Raymond at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 am.
