The sudden tragic passing of Terry on Friday, January 31, 2025 has left a hole in the hearts of his family, and a wide circle of friends gained by his generous, trusting and loyal soul. Those who knew him, loved him. Per his siblings, Terry lived life large. His love of and affinity with motorized vehicles, two, four or many wheels, shaped his career in transportation: trucking- cement mixers, big rig highway-Personnel transport, Handi-Bus, taxi, & more; his main hobbies, fast motorcycles and racing Honda Michelin series. If it had a motor and wheels, Terry would roll with it. Born in Fort Nelson BC, most of his life from 7yrs old was spent in Calgary. In recent years Terry worked and lived in Fort McMurray. Plans to soon travel to Asia, exploring culture and pursuing health interests were sadly cut short.
Terry is survived by his sister, Vicki Ficaccio; brothers, Jim (Maureen), William, and Barry; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Eileen and Robert Bowman; brother-in-law, Vittorio; sisters-in-law, Catherine and Carlitta.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service – Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta) on Thursday, February 13, 2025 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. with an interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M 3B4 Calgary, Alberta).
