Richard (Rick) George Harding passed away suddenly September 2, 2015 at the age of 55.
Rick is survived by sons Eric (23) and Spencer (21) of Calgary, mother Mary (Volek) Harding of Calmar and siblings Rhonda (Pierre) Brunet of Leduc, Ken (Diane) of San Gudo, Teresa of Calmar, Mark (Rhonda) of Taber and Pat (Tracy) of Spruce Grove.
He is predeceased by his father George W. Harding and his grandparents Bertha and John Harding of Nesbitt, Manitoba and Joseph and Elizabeth Volek of Wiskada, Manitoba. Rick also leaves behind his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as friends and colleagues.
Rick was known for his many interests including Toastmasters, golfing, running, soccer, football, coaching, reffing, skiing, reading, movies and music. Rick touched a great deal of lives with his personality, his great sense of humor and friendly nature.
Rick was devoted to his sons and loved to coach and support their sports teams. Rick will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Calgary Canoe Club (7305 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary) on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m
