Rinaldo ‘Rino’ Elia

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Rinaldo “Rino” Elia on July 2, 2022 at the age of 41. He is predeceased by his grandparents; Cousin Rosa Holman, and his Uncle; Bruno Sirianni. Rino was born in Calgary,  the middle child and only son. With his older sister Tina and younger sister Daniela, he shared a very close and unique relationship with. Rino loved the 49ers and the Edmonton Oilers, Michael Jackson and his sister Daniela’s tres’ Leches cake. He also loved his sister Tina’s peanut butter cookies and anything that Vince prepared. However, nothing is better than Mom’s cooking. Rino enjoyed Sunday football with his friends, Monday wrestling with his dad and watching 90 day fiance with his mom. He shared a great relationship with his Brother in law Vince, and his greatest treasures; His nephews Silvio and Michael Gallo. Aside from his friends and family, Rino loved and adored his girlfriend; Marie and her three boys. He was a great role model to these boys, and very kind and patient to those with special needs. Rino will be missed by his parents; Giuseppina and Enrico Elia of Calgary. His Girlfriend; Marie Howell of Calgary. His siblings; Tina (Vince) Gallo and Daniela Elia of Calgary. His Nephews; Silvio and Michael Gallo, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

A Funeral Service will be held for Rino at St Luke’s Catholic Church  on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 am. There will be a reception following the service at the Rocky Ridge Ranch Center (10709 Rocky Ridge Blvd NW)
