Robert “Bob” Matthew Bigelow February 19th 1950 – April 27th 2017

Bob was born in Calgary Alberta, he was a great sports fan, avid camper, and keen card player. He was employed with Domtar (Norampac) as a “smart car” operator for over 27 years. Upon taking early retirement, Bob moved to Enderby B.C. Then moved back to Calgary to be with his family.

He is survived by his three children, Jason Erickson, Chelsey Hupe, John Bigelow and their mother Kathy Bigelow. Eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Bob is also survived by his brothers and sister. Eddie (Janice) Bigelow , Alan (Debbie) Bigelow, Barb (Greg) Hickey. He was predeceased sister Florence (1960), Mother Ethel (1987), Brother George (2000) and Father Ernie (2013).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17th Ave SE Calgary AB, Thursday May 4th 2017 at 2pm. Family and Friends are invited to a gathering at the Forest Lawn Legion, Branch 275 755-40th Street SE. From 3pm to 5pm In Bob’s honor join the family, by wearing your Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders Jersey or T-Shirts. Or any Sport Jersey of your choice as Bob’s loved sports.
