On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Rob Dalton, beloved husband of Debbie Hilton of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 64 years. Rob suffered with cancer for more than eight years.
Rob was born on Thursday, January 23, 1958 in Calgary with loving parents Dale and Dona Dalton. He was the oldest of four children: Richard, Gary, and John. Rob went to college and became a meat cutter.
Rob and Debbie have been together since 1991. His profession, after meat cutting, was a drywaller in the construction industry. He loved working, and after work Rob would sit in the yard with his brother Gary or friends and crack a cold one.
Rob loved fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed watching and talking about hockey. Rob also loved to go for a motorcycle ride, however he always ended up putting his helmet on wrong every time. Other things Rob enjoyed to do, when he had the time, was play chess, woodworking, help friends work on cars, and make homemade noodles.
Besides his wife of 30 years, Rob is survived by one daughter Victoria; brothers Richard Dalton of Vancouver, British Columbia, Gary Dalton and his wife Joanna of Red Deer County, Alberta. He is predeceased by his parents Dona and Dale Dalton, and one brother John Dalton.
Relatives and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so from 1:00 p.m. until 1:55 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 from Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary. Funeral service will be held from the same location at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022. Wearing of Masks is mandatory. Cremation will follow.
