Roberta Cameron peacefully passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 87 years. Roberta will be dearly missed by her sons, Rex (Donna) of Kronau, SK, Al (Patricia) of Calgary and Lance (Leona) of Edmonton; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband, Wilf; her parents, Robert and Roseanna, and her brother, Tom. Roberta was a loving wife and mother. She always had her door open for family and friends to come and share in the delicious meals she could easily prepare for a crowd. She and Wilf enjoyed an active life hiking, camping, canoeing with the Bow Waters Canoe Club, and sailing. Roberta was a gifted and talented artist. She sewed, crafted, did calligraphy, made ceramics and painted. Her handmade cards were always valued. She was notorious for keeping a treasure trove of materials and costumes in the over-stuffed craft room under the stairs, ready for any occasion. Before her health concerns limited her ability, she regularly attended services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Willow Park Chapel. A Celebration of Roberta’s Life for family and friends will take place at a later date.
