Roger Joseph Richard

Roger Richard passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 75 years.  He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Patricia Richard (Gilles Lanteigne); grandchildren, Luc, Marie-Pier and Cristelle; great-grandson, Ulrick all from Caraquet, NB; siblings, Fernande, Lise (André), Yvon and Micheline Richard, all from Quebec; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many more family and friends. Roger was predeceased by his father Donat Richard, mother Solange Damour and siblings, Hugette, Armand, Marcel and Bernadette. Roger was born in Maniwaki, QC. He grew up in Rouyn, Maquamic and Cornwall. He moved to Montreal when he was 14 and in his early 20’s he set off west and made a home for himself in Calgary. A Private Family Service will be held for Roger. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Roger to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (
