Roger Tollestrup Kirkham

KIRKHAM Roger Tollestrup Oct. 9, 1938 – June 14, 2012 Roger Kirkham passed away suddenly on June 14, 2012 at the age of 73. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 52 years Patricia Lund Kirkham; their children Douglas Kirkham and Sheila Kirkham; two sisters Helen Greep and Sally Monette (Rene), all of Calgary; a sister-in-law Joyce Kirkham of Lethbridge; and many other relatives and friends. Roger was predeceased by his parents Joe and LaRosa Kirkham, a brother Gary Kirkham and a sister Sandra Piepgrass. Roger was born and raised in Raymond, Alberta, settling in Calgary with his wife Patricia to raise their family. Roger worked as a Carpenter and for a period of time worked for AGT/Telus returning to his love of carpentry until his retirement. Roger also loved photography and in retirement became an amazing wood turner. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Willow Park Chapel, 940 Acadia Drive SE on Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 am.
