It is with profound sadness and gentle relief that we announce the passing of Roman “Rod” Semenchuk on Friday December 10th, 2021 at the age of 76 after a courageous four year battle with cancer.
Rod is remembered by his beloved wife of 35 years, Deb Semenchuk; his beautiful daughter, Vanessa (Jay) Sullivan of Calgary; daughter-in-law, Kaley Semenchuk; six grandchildren, McKenna Nechka (Tyson Helm), Lucas Sullivan (Kayden Uribe), Jack Sullivan, Addison Sullivan, Robert Semenchuk, Max Semenchuk all of Calgary.
He is also survived by two brothers, Bob Semenchuk of Brandon, and Ken Semenchuk of Calgary; his mother-in-law, Marolyn Crighton; sister-in-laws, Lisa (Keith) Holmes and Michelle Crighton (Sandra Strangman) and brother-in-law, Darcy Flett all of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cockapoo Tommy.
Rod is predeceased by his loving son, Kyle Semenchuk; his parents, Anna and Mike Semenchuk; father-in-law, Thomas Crighton; six brothers and four sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121-17th Ave S.E) on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 1:30pm with a reception to follow. Those wishing to watch from the comfort of their home may do so via this zoom link
