Romario David Williams Jr.

With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Romario David Williams Jr. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 10 months.

Romario was born on November 1, 2022 and was a bright light in our lives.

Romario Jr. always woke up bright and happy, we cannot forget that lovely smile on his face. He was so tender and gentle such a beautiful soul. He loved his family and when dad would come home he always greeted him with loud grunts so cute. He loved when his mother sang to him and enjoyed his older sister’s antics. He loved the colour red and was so proud when he sat up. He will truly be missed.

Romario is survived by his parents, Lacey Brown and Romario Williams Sr.; sibling, Tashara; grandfather, Owen Williams; grandmothers, Janet Williams and Velma Brown; aunt and uncles, Timara, Shawn, Tyler, Alexia, Ashley and Javier; cousins, Trinay, Chantay, Laytrell, Zion, Sade, Alaisa and Jahsiah.

It was our honour and privilege to hold him, and to be his parents. We now know the extreme depths of love one can have as a parent. We have loved you for your whole life and will keep loving you for the rest of ours.
