Roy Harry Peterson

Roy Harry Peterson, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 15, 2018 at Dulcina Hospice in Calgary AB.
Roy was born on August 23, 1925 in Newton BC. He was a calm and caring man, who loved spending time with his family and friends. His sharp intellect and witty sense of humor shone through right until his passing. Roy drove for Greyhound for 37 years and had a lifelong love of learning and nature (gardening, fishing, photography, wine-making). He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Dorothy; children Ben (Norma), Shelly (Blair) and Deb; grandchildren Jimmy, Ryan, Jeremy, Tara, Nikita, Howie, Amanda and Matt; sister Elsie; and many great grandchildren and other relatives.
At Roys request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army at salvationarmy.ca/donations. Special thanks to the staff at South Campus Hospital and Dulcina Hospice.
