Ruth Duncan

Ruth Duncan passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the age of 70 Years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tamara (Anthony) Matthews, Richard Duncan, Jeff Duncan (Tara) and Timothy Duncan; granddaughters Alexis and Olivia; siblings Jean (John) Cross, Maureen Forbes, Irene (Kent) Hansen, David (Jackie) Brooks, Trevor Brooks and Stephen Brooks; and many more family and friends. Ruth loved scrap booking, gardening, traveling and being involved in her church activities. She also wanted to make sure she never missed a moment so she had a camera handy to capture them. Ruth cared for everyone she knew which was seen in both her lifelong career as a nurse and how much she loved to spend time with her family. She was even writing letters and communicating with a child in Africa that she was introduced to through World Vision. A Funeral Service will be held for Ruth at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Cranston Chapel (200 Cranston Rd SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Okotoks Cemetery.
