Sandra Bird Rosser

March 25, 1944 — December 10, 2022

Sandra ‘Sandy’ Bird Rosser (nee Moses) passed away unexpectedly while in Foothills Hospital, Calgary, AB on December 10, 2022.

Born March 25, 1944 in Vermilion, Alberta. She is survived by her husband Mike Rosser; daughters, Tanya Rosser and Terina Walker (Len); sister, Glenys Crossland (Greg), brother Gary (Isabelle); sister-in-law, Lynda; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Albert Moses, mother Alice ‘Betty’ Waldenberger (nee Phillips); and brother Ronald Moses.

Sandy was a very compassionate person with a whole lot of spunk. She had a down to earth personality and was so very easy to talk to. One of her favorite hobbies and places to be was in her garden. She called it “playing in the dirt.”

Although she worked at Sears in Customer Service for 10 years, Sandy was really a born Social Worker. So, she obtained her diploma in Social Work from MRU. Sandy was ‘Mom’ to many! Yet the love of her life was her husband Mike along with her two girls Tanya and Terina. Sandy and Mike loved to travel, and had fun and made friends wherever they found themselves. To know Sandy was to love her. She will be missed, so very much by many, but no one more than her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the
