Sarah “Sally” Wilhelmina Wilton

Sally Wilton passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the age of 94 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ken (Judy) Wilton, of Sylvan Lake, AB, Maureen (Al) Wagner, of Chestermere, AB, and Sharon (Jim) Stapley, of Red Deer, AB; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; special friend George Hampton; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Wilton, brother George Boon and sister Hazel Proulx. Sally was born and raised in Calgary and was proud to be a native Calgarian. She met her husband Joseph at a dance and short time later they married. They were together until Joes death 62 years later. After raising their three children, she began working in customer service at Sears, where she worked for more than 20 years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A Celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at the Prince of Peace Manor (285030 Luther Rose Blvd NE, Calgary) on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sally to the Alzheimer Society Canada (www.alzheimer.ca)
