Shelly Jean Ramsdale

Shelly Ramsdale passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the age of 59 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joe Flaherty; children Christine Ramsdale (Kevin), of brooks, AB, John Ramsdale, of Sherwood Park, AB, Kyle Ramsdale (Tanis) and Colin Ramsdale (Tara), both of Calgary, AB; several grandchildren, including Kingston, Justice, Angelo, Halo, Vergo, Nolan, Odessa, Oddy, Drayton and Maia; sister Laureen Ramsdale, of Brooks, AB; brothers Dusty Ramsdale (Kim), of Lethbridge, AB, Darcy (Brenda) Ramsdale and Cody Ramsdale, both of Calgary, AB; her two dogs Lyla and Leo; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Maureen & Frank Ramsdale, daughter Jodi Ramsdale, and brother-in-law Robert Spicer.

Shelly was born in Bassano, AB and raised in both Bassano and Brooks, AB. She was blessed with five children who became the focus of her life and even more so when they had her grandchildren. Shelly was a single mother and worked as a healthcare aide for Carewest. Serving others was in her nature. She stressed and worked hard her entire life until she met Joe who took care of her and helped bring some really happiness to her life. They enjoyed traveling together to see the family wherever they might be.

Shelly’s family will be celebrating her life on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm, attendance is restricted, those wishing to participate from home can do so at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83794460681.
