Shirley Mae Wood

Shirley Wood passed away with her family by her side on Saturday October 5, 2019 at the age of 86 years. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 63 years at the time his passing, Luther and daughter, Janice. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Della (Greg) Stannard of Claresholm and son, Glenn (Sheila) Wood of Carstairs; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Shirley was born and raised in Calgary. She loved camping, reading, playing cards and animals. She especially loved to cook and had a large recipe collection. A private family graveside will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
