On June 30th, 2022, Terry passed away unexpectedly due to ongoing health issues. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. Terry is survived by father Fred Sinnett (Susan), brothers Gordon and Paul Sinnett, and sister Andrea Posehn. He was predeceased by his mother, Monica Posehn.
Terry grew up a gentle and sweet kid with a deep affection for animals, who often expressed a love of art through numerous creations that utilized psychedelic shapes and colours. In his adult life, Terry found a passion for computers, and began working in data entry, prior to moving on to post-secondary pursuits in Information Technology. In his spare time, Terry furthered his creative output as an author of self-published books, which offered a window into his view of the world and the myriad forces at play within it, and us.
Terry had a heart of gold, and was exceedingly generous to his friends. He enjoyed hiking in the mountains, loved to dance, and felt most at home within the community of EDM cultural events and festivals. Known for possessing a wicked sense of humour, Terry could often be heard interjecting laughter into just about any situation or circumstance. Those who knew Terry well knew that he didn’t live his life in a box; he lived how he wanted to live, on his own terms.
Celebration of Life will be held in Calgary at Sandy Beach Park on July 31st at 3:15 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in Regina at the Speers Family Centre (2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK) on August 14th at 2:00 pm.
