Stacy Anne-Marie Amado

AMADO, Stacy Anne-Marie (nee Jansen) May 20, 1981 June 20, 2013 It is with great sadness the family announces that Stacy Amado passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the age of 32 years. She leaves behind her beloved husband Jansenio Amado; her parents Walt and Joanne Jansen, mother-in-law Maria Das Candeias Lavres; her sister Jessica Jansen, sister-in-law Mytilene Dirce Amado; brother-in-law Divaldo Amado; and her grandfather Valentine Reiter; nieces Melissa and Magda, and her beloved cat; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Beatrice Reiter and John and Goldie Jansen. Stacy worked with the City of Calgary for the last 10 years, attending night classes at S.A.I.T Polytechnic and working hard to receive her Business Accounting Certificate. She also was a member of the Girl Guides of Canada from a youth, to serving as a leader; where she received many awards and accomplishments over the 20 years of involvement. Stacy loved camping, Geo-Caching and traveling with family, of which she had just recently returned from a 3 week memorable family trip to Europe. Stacy will be forever remembered and always in our hearts. A prayer service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 30 Street SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:30p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the same location on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 3:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association #204, 2323 32nd Avenue NE, Calgary AB, T2E 6K2.
