It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Helmer Wall, of Beiseker, AB, on June 19, 2015 at the age of 80 years. His memory will be lovingly cherished by his daughters Audrey Glendinning (Kevin Hansen) and Janey (Jim) Dunseith, both of Calgary; his grandchildren Michael Glendinning, and Courtney Dunseith; as well as his brother Norman Wall, and his sister Sally Gorski, both of Regina, SK. Stanley was a good man with a kind soul. He was born and raised on a farm in Archerwill, SK. before his travels took him west. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, if ever anyone needed help, he was there without a moment’s hesitation. Stanley had a successful career with the Alberta Wheat Pool for 36 years, retiring as a foreman in 1995. While at the Wheat Pool, he also maintained the farm in Archerwill, SK. Stanley enjoyed working with his hands, whether he was tending to his land, demonstrating his master carpentry construction skills , gardening, or camping, Stanley’ skilled hands never rested. Stanley also had a great love for a good party, and enjoyed being surrounded by family, friends and laughter. He still reins the champ at twisting knuckles. Stanley was predeceased by his loving wife Bernice Wall, his parents Carl and Mabel Wall, his brother-in-law Ernie Gorski, and his sister-in-law Doris Wall. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to friends and family of Beisker who helped Stanley through the struggles, the people and staff of Walden Heights Senior Community, the caring staff at Southwood Hospice, and Louie at We Care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June, 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Cemetery, 16 Avenue and Garden Road/100 Street N.E., Calgary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Foundation in Stanley’s memory.
