Steve Perry passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13th, 2019 at the Peter Lougheed Center, Unit 49. He had just celebrated his 75th birthday. Steve was adopted by the LaCasse family as a young child. In 1994 after many years of searching he found his birth family and had the opportunity of meeting his siblings and their families. Steve moved to Calgary from Montreal in the late 70’s where he was a Calgary Transit Operator. In 1999 Steve went on to become a long-haul trucker. He had the opportunity of seeing North America until he retired. He is survived by his children. Alex of BC, Kyssandra and Zain of Calgary and Mike and Brenda of BC. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tegan and Kaidyn. He was predeceased by his Common Law spouse Lorraine Thompson. We would like to thank the staff of Clifton Manor Unit 100 and the staff of Unit 49 of the Peter Lougheed Center for their care of Steve. There will be no viewing or service. The children will scatter his ashes at a later date as per his request.
