Sylvia Catherine Anne Farrelly

Sylvia Farrelly, aged 56, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the age of 56 years, succumbing to the relentless grip of addiction. Addiction, a merciless force, didn't love Sylvia; it controlled and owned her, distorting her reality and numbing her heart. Despite her every attempt to break free, it incessantly reeled her in. 

As we bid farewell, we choose to remember Sylvia through the lens of joyful moments shared, finding solace in the belief that she is now at peace. 

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, James and Jansje Farrelly. She is survived by her children, Amanda (Dominic) Conway, Davison Nurse, and her grandchildren, Hunter-Mae, Halle Conway, and Xerxes Nurse. Sylvia also leaves behind her siblings, Sherry (Don) Fitger, Mark Farrelly, and Terry Farrelly. 

A Graveside Service will be held for Sylvia at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Road NE, Calgary) on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:30 am.
