Theresa Laura Smith

Theresa Smith passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 70 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Audrey, of Calgary, AB; siblings Brenda Simonson, of Vancouver, BC, Beverly Smith, of Calgary, AB, Jocelyn Cooper (Ross), of Kamloops, BC, and Sterling Smith, of Calgary, AB; nieces and nephews Michelle, Sean, Audra, Trina, Isaiah, Emmet, Cavan and Kalaya; 2 great nephews; 7 great-great nieces and nephews; all of her family at Sun West church; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Edgar Smith and close friends Leslie and Ester.

Theresa was born and raised in Calgary. After finishing her schooling years she started her 35 year career at City Hall for the City of Calgary. Theresa loved her church and church family at Sun West Church. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Theresa’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Sun West Church for all the friendship and fellowship shown to Theresa in the last 10 years.

A Funeral Service will be held for Theresa at Sun West Church (260 Midpark Blvd SE, Calgary) on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 am.
