Tuyet B. Nguyen

With great sadness we announce the passing of Tuyet B. Nguyen on Monday, July 29, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 62. 

Born in Vietnam, Tuyet immigrated to Canada in 1980. She resided in Calgary, Alberta where she met her husband, Hiep Nguyen. In the 44 years they have been together, they raised two sons and helped raise two grandchildren. Tuyet was a kind, generous and strong woman who never gave up and bravely fought stage 4 cancer for 11 years.

Tuyet is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Hiep Nguyen; son, H. Nguyen; daughter-in-law, Malisa Phung; two grandchildren, Tyler Nguyen and Emily Nguyen; mother Tri Nguyen; uncle Truong Hoang, and aunt Tham Nguyen of the United Kingdom. She was predeceased by her son, Vu Nguyen; and her father, Thanh Huynh.

A Public Visitation will take place at St. Vincent Liem Catholic Parish (2412 48th Street SE, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent Liem Catholic Church (2412 48th Street SE, Calgary, Alberta) on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Garden of Peace Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, Alberta).
