In her younger years Mom loved to figure skate and alongside one of her best friends Patsy (MacGregor) Hynes the pair of them performed the jive on the ice. Mom was a great dancer. She was also an avid piano player and had spent many hours of her life entertaining people at Nanny’s house on Ambrose Street as well as the Church she attended. Mom was very active in her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and took great pride in her contributions to the many genealogical projects she participated in for her Church. She loved her home province of Prince Edward Island as she loved to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and always said “Salt water was good for the body and could cure any kinda cut you had.” We love you Mom and hope you rest in peace!!!! We would like to say a special thank you to everyone from her Church who was there for Mom when she needed help and a special thank you to John Gallichan & Alison Hicks. She held a very special place in her heart for John as her home teacher and friend. Also many thanks to the staff at the Bethany Care Centre for taking such great care of her in her final days.
