Vernon Brian Hazelwood

Hazelwood, Vernon Brian September 27, 1949 – March 15, 2015 Vern passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015at the age of 65 years.He was a loving father, brother and “papa”. Vern will be lovingly remembered by his children Tyler Kruger (Stephanie), Anne-Maria (Jay) and Cassandra (Dallas) as well as his common-law partner of 26 years Sharon; two brothers Joseph and John and 5 and a half grandchildren, Kayden, Gabriel, Kieren, Aspyen, Bentley and a granddaughter on the way.Vern enjoyed the Christmas season and loved to bake ( as well as eating the baked goodies) he also enjoyed quiet times just sitting in the backyard listing to the birds sing.His greatest joy in life, was spending time with his grandchildren. A Celebration of Vern’s Life will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue S.E., Calgary) on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
