Victoria “Joyce” Westerberg (Nee: Kuziak)

Joyce had a long and courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully with her loving family at her bedside on Saturday, May 28th, 2022. She will be forever missed by her son Lyndon (Jacqueline), and their children Christian, Julia and Ryan (her American grandchildren) all residing in Texas; daughter Kirsten (Ted), and their children Hannah, Nicholas and Caroline (her Canadian grandchildren) all residing in Calgary; and son Eric (Diep), residing in Edmonton, AB; and ex-husband, Jack Westerberg, who resides in Kelowna, BC.  Joyce prepared for her death and asked for a celebration of life instead of a funeral.  There will be a short service led by Joyce’s friend and Pastor, Randy Rohrick. As per Joyce’s wishes, we ask that you come join family and friends in a social setting to share some of your classic memories, and participate in some of her favourite food, drinks, photos and music. We will have a Memory Jar set up so you can write of your favourite memories of her. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make any donations to the Foothills Country Hospice, located just north of Okotoks:

A Celebration of Life for Joyce will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday July 8, 2022 at The Clubhouse, 1000 Lake Fraser Green SE – Bonavista II Complex, Calgary, Alberta.

Access to the Clubhouse at 1000 Lake Fraser Green SE will be through the car gate off Lake Fraser Drive into the complex courtyard – There will be signage at the keypad – please enter code 0100 to open the gate for access to the complex (once in courtyard access Clubhouse via Building 1000), or alternatively, you can park along Lake Fraser Drive SE, adjacent to the complex and across the road at Avenida Place Shopping Centre, or in the adjacent Holiday Inn Parking lot.  Access from Lake Fraser Drive to the Clubhouse will be through a sidewalk entrance that will be marked.
