William Allen Affie

Bill passed away peacefully in the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his loving wife Edna of 68 years; his children Terry and Robert; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Dwayne Allen in 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 100, 119-14 St NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6. A Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery (3219 4 Street NW) on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion (1910 Kensington Rd NW Calgary, AB) at 12:00 noon.
